You don't have to ditch the donation platform you already love. Pop Magics listens for tip events over a simple webhook, so Streamlabs or StreamElements keeps doing the money part while Pop Magics turns each tip into a 3D bubble. Let's connect them.

Before you start

  • Pop Magics installed and running (download here).
  • A Streamlabs or StreamElements account where you already receive tips.

Step-by-step

  1. Enable the donations hook

    In the Creator hub, switch on the donations hook. Pop Magics starts a small local listener and gives you a webhook URL. Copy it — that's the address tips will be sent to.

  2. Set the webhook URL in Streamlabs / StreamElements

    Open your donation platform's webhook / alert integration settings and paste the Pop Magics webhook URL. Streamlabs: add it under your alert/webhook integrations. StreamElements: add it as an outgoing webhook for tip events. Save.

  3. Map amount tiers

    Back in Pop Magics, build amount-based tiers and give each its own bubble size and style. Make a $50 tip land like a celebration.

  4. Test a tip

    Send a test donation from your platform (most have a "send test" button) and watch the 3D bubble appear. Adjust, re-test, done.

Heads up: Pop Magics never touches your money. Your tips are still collected and paid out by Streamlabs or StreamElements — Pop Magics only receives the alert event to show the bubble.

Does this work with both Streamlabs and StreamElements?

Yes. Pop Magics exposes a webhook either platform can post to — paste the URL into your webhook/alert settings and tips flow into the feed.

Where does the money go?

Exactly where it does today. Streamlabs or StreamElements still collects and pays out your donations; Pop Magics only displays the alert.
