System requirements

🍎 macOS

macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Earlier versions, including Ventura, cannot run this build.
Apple Silicon only — M1, M2, M3, M4. Intel Macs are not supported yet.
A built-in or USB webcam.
~550 MB free disk space.
8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB comfortable with 3D and depth running.
Installed from the .pkg into /Applications — the virtual camera is a system extension and macOS only activates it there.

On an Intel Mac or on macOS 13 and below you will see “You can’t use this version of the application with this version of macOS.” That is this requirement, not a fault on your machine. Intel support is being worked on — tell us and we will let you know when it lands.

Windows 11, 64-bit for the built-in virtual camera.
Windows 10 runs the app, but has no built-in virtual camera — use the OBS route instead.
A built-in or USB webcam.
~700 MB free disk space.
8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB comfortable with 3D and depth running.
A DirectX 12 capable GPU is recommended. Without one the app still runs, with some advanced effects unavailable.

The installer is code-signed, but the certificate is new, so Windows SmartScreen may still warn. Choose More info → Run anyway and check the publisher reads Piruz Chaman Afruz.

Both platforms: an internet connection for sign-in and licence activation. Video is composited on your machine and is never uploaded.
