How to show Twitch alerts (subs, bits, raids) as 3D bubbles

Before you start

  • Pop Magics installed and running (download here).
  • Your own Twitch account — no separate bot account required.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Creator hub

    In Pop Magics, open the Creator hub — that's home base for stream connections and your live alerts feed. Everything Twitch lives here.

  2. Connect Twitch

    Click Connect Twitch. Your browser opens a secure Twitch login (PKCE OAuth), you approve the permissions, and you're back in the app — connected. No passwords are typed into Pop Magics, and there's no bot account to wrangle.

  3. Enable subs, bits & raids

    Flip on the events you care about: subscriptions (new + resubs), bits/cheers, and raids. Each one becomes a 3D bubble on your stage when it happens live.

  4. Set your alert tiers

    This is the fun part. Build amount-based tiers — say Bronze / Silver / Gold — and give each its own bubble size and style. A 100-bit cheer gets a friendly pop; a 10,000-bit drop gets the full fireworks. Make the big moments feel big.

  5. Test it

    Hit Test alert for each event. Watch the 3D bubble appear, and check the message the way you want. Tweak, re-test, then go live with confidence.

FAQ

Do I need a separate bot account?

No. Pop Magics connects to your own Twitch account with a secure PKCE login — nothing to set up, no password pasted into the app.

How are bits mapped to dollar amounts for tiers?

Bits use the standard rate of about 1 cent each (100 bits ≈ $1), so a 500-bit cheer reads as roughly $5 when choosing a tier. You can set the tier thresholds to any amounts you like.

How much latency is there?

Alerts usually pop within a second or two of the Twitch event — fast enough to shout out your supporters live.
