How to add 3D stickers & AR characters to your webcam
Put a dragon on your desk, a hype sidekick on your shoulder, or a glowing logo over your head — live, in 3D, no Blender required. Here's how to add 3D stickers and AR characters to your shot and send them anywhere.
This is the headline act. Pop Magics renders real 3D objects into your camera feed and can lock them onto AR markers so they sit in your physical space — turn the marker, the character turns with it. No rigging, no render farm, no plugins. Pick, place, play.
What you'll need
- Pop Magics installed and running (download here).
- A webcam, and optionally a printed AR marker for real-space tracking.
Step-by-step
-
Add a 3D sticker or character
Open the 3D Sticker & AR studio and browse the built-in library or the asset store. Click a 3D sticker or character to drop it onto your stage. Want something unique? Grab a creator-made character from the store.
-
Place it on an AR marker or on screen
Two ways to position it: anchor it to a printed AR marker so it tracks in real space (great for "holding" a character or putting it on your desk), or pin it to a fixed spot on screen like a corner mascot or a logo above your head.
-
Animate or trigger it
Give it life. Choose a built-in animation or set a trigger so the character reacts on cue — wave when you start, celebrate on a new follower, or loop a gentle idle. Combine it with live alerts for reactions tied to your community.
-
Output via the virtual camera
Whatever's on the stage is your camera. Select Pop Magics as the camera in Zoom, Meet, Teams, OBS, Twitch, or YouTube and your AR scene goes live everywhere.

Do I need to know 3D modeling or rigging?
No. Pop Magics ships with ready-to-use 3D stickers and characters, and the asset store has plenty more. No rigging, no Blender — pick, place, go.
What is an AR marker?
It's a printable pattern Pop Magics recognizes in your webcam feed. Put it in frame and your 3D character locks onto it, tracking position and angle in real space.
Can I use the characters in Zoom and OBS too?
Yes. Your stage flows through the virtual camera, so it works in Zoom, Meet, Teams, OBS, Twitch, and YouTube.
